The beautiful colonial town of Paraty will host once more this wonderful event, one of the most interesting on the Paraty Events Calendar. On May 28th, 29th and 30th the second edition of the Bourbon Festival will feature eleven show covering traditional and modern Jazz, Swing, Blues, Soul, R&B and more in three nights under the stars of free shows in the stage set for the festival at the Praça da Matriz, at the Historic Centre, just 5 minutes away from the hostel.

The festival is organised by the Bourbon Street Music Club from São Paulo, with the support of the Paraty City Hall. The three nights will be a sample of the artists that usually perform in the Brazilian temple of jazz and blues that has delivered many big names of the jazz and blues scene such as Ray Charles, B.B. King and Nina Simone, among many others.

This jazz celebration will start in the streets of the Historic Centre with an animated Band, the Dixie Square Jazz Band, which will introduce the unforgettable shows scheduled for Friday, Saturday and sunday.

The Bourbon Festival programme includes: Léo Gandelman & Diogo Poças, Glen David Andrews, Big Time Orchestra, Caviars Blues Band + Chui, Paulo Meyer e Donny Nichillo, Stanley Jordan & Armandinho, Victor Brooks com Julie Mcknight & Wayne Vaughn, Rhandal & Trio, Bocato & Flávia Fonseca, John Pizzarelli and DJ Bebeto + Paraty Jam.
